Year 6 and 7 – all students. Hands-on enterprise project. Main focus is HASS, also connects to Financial Mathematics. Strong General Capabilities connections.
Students will be able to:Create and launch their own micro-business. This helps them connect HASS and maths concepts to real life, especially in the area of financial capability. The program builds the enterprise skills shown to have the greatest acceleration effect on obtaining full-time paid employment post study. (prices include GST. Can pay via invoice, or using a credit card online).
Great when:Best implemented when you’re looking for a project-based learning opportunity with all the hard work done for you (i.e. all content is already pre-recorded and lesson plans mapped out with curriculum alignment). A safe space to allow students to fail so they can build their resilience – their business can be a disaster but they can still pass (or even excel) in the project. Great for building team working skills, developing critical thinking and connecting financial concepts to real life.
Price:$770 for one class (up to 30 students)
$1430 for two classes (up to 60 students)
$1980 for four classes (up to 100 students)
